As if summer isn’t hot enough, Wild Wing Wasaga Beach in the Stonebridge Town Centre plans to heat things up with some hot live music.
Saturday Aug. 8 • 8 p.m. to midnight
Even Steven, which consists of childhood friends Steve McEown and Steve Eyers of Orillia, plays soft rock, country, classic hits from the 60s and 70, plus current hits. Sometimes the band incorporates a bluegrass set with Eyers on the five-string banjo. Even Steven is known for its tight harmonies. This band has opened for acts such as Trooper, The Stampeders, and The Martels.
Saturday Aug. 15 • 8 p.m. to midnight
Laura Lee’s Tequila Rockin’ Birds plays a variety of music from Sam Cooke and Etta James to the Arc Angels and Bad Company. The band features Laura Lee Montgomerie on vocals, Lorne Scriver on bass/vocals, Brian Jennings on drums/Vocals and Chris Hiney on guitar/vocals. “Lots of fun, great tunes and dancing is always allowed and encouraged,” Montgomerie says.
Thursday Aug. 20 • 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Get your motor running for another Bike Night: the Barrie Harley Davidson Ride. There will great food, friends, specials and prizes. All motorcycle makes and models are welcome.

The Sandra Good Band plays classic rock. Led by Sandra Hosgood, The Sandra Good Band’s play list includes songs by AC/DC, Alannah Myles, Amanda Marshall, BTO, Carrie Underwood, The Cult, Elvis Presley and many others.
Saturday Aug. 29 • 8 p.m. to midnight
Betty Holiday & the Tradesmen will play their brand of rockabilly. The band features Grant Bonsant on guitar, Betty Holiday on vocals, Peter Sanderson, bass, and Mark Stefansky, drums and plays music from the 1960s through the 1990s: Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, The Faces and others.
